ALEXANDER ESTEPHANE AND JUAN TOLEDO (CONVICTED: on one count of Prohibition of Animal Fighting of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law. The crime occurred on June 14, 2008 in the basement of Estephane’s home which had been converted into a dog fighting ring made of plywood. Authorities recovered 16 pit bulls, including a badly injured dog in a cage that later succumbed to its wounds.)

GABRIEL SOSA AND DOMINIC NESBY (INDICTED: on a total of 21 counts of Criminal Sale of a Firearm in the 1st and 3rd degrees and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd degrees. Sosa and Nesby are charged with selling handguns and assault rifles to undercover New York City Police Detectives on 10 occasions during a five month period in 2009.)

KEHINDE JOBI (ARRESTED: on charges of three counts of Grand larceny in the 3rd degree, a Class D, felony offense punishable by up to 7 years imprisonment on each count, and three counts of Judicially Disbarred Attorney Practicing Law, a Class A misdemeanor offense publishable by a maximum sentence of up to one year in jail on each count. It is alleged that Jobi stole more than $42,000 from three people and also misrepresented herself as an attorney to two others in unrelated proceedings involving a divorce and a bankruptcy.)

GAVIN MURRAY (CONVICTED: on one count of murder in the 2nd degree in the death of Leonard Crockett; one count of manslaughter in the 1st degree in the death of Jason Semidey; one count of Assault in the 1st degree in the wounding of Donald Salters; two counts of Attempted Murder for shots fired at Aaron Wesctcott and Terell DeMorcy; and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree.)

QUINDELL FRANCIS (CONVICTED: on one count of manslaughter in the 1st degree and one count of xriminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree. The fatal shooting occurred on February 1, 2005 behind a building at 352 Brinsmade Avenue, the Bronx. It was the culmination of a prior conflict between the deceased and a Bloods gang member.)

BRONX DISTRICT ATTORNEY ROBERT T. JOHNSON (announces a gun buy-back program in an effort to get illegal hand guns and other weapons off the streets and out of circulation. Participants will receive a $200 pre-paid cash card for each eligible weapon surrendered, no questions asked. The gun buy-back program will take place on one day only - Saturday, January 23, 2010 - between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at four drop-off locations.)

CECILIA CASABUENA (ARRESTED: on charges of mutiple counts of grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal personation and other offenses including one count of scheme to defraud in the first degree. These charges involve ten victims between February 1, 2008 and October 31, 2009.)
