BRONX MAN FACING LIFE IMPRISONMENT WITHOUT PAROLE FOR MURDERING THREE OF HIS NEIGHBORS IN THE AFTERMATH OF LONG RUNNING DISPUTE OVER NOISE
Bronx District Attorney Robert T. Johnson announced today that a 29 year old Bronx man is facing a maximum sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for murdering three of his neighbors.
Corey Gamble, of 1995 Birchall Avenue, was found guilty of Murder in the 1st degree and Murder in the 2nd degree in the deaths of Eunice Younger, 75, and her two adult children, Gloria Watson, 53, and Ricky Younger, 44. Gamble was convicted following two days of deliberations.
The victims were shot to death on Saturday, March 15, 2003 shortly after four o’clock in the afternoon. The deceased all lived in the apartment above the defendant’s residence and were pronounced dead at the scene as a result of gunshot wounds to the head.
The fatal shootings were the culmination of a long running dispute between Gamble and the deceased over noise
Acting State Supreme Court Justice Martin Marcus set sentencing for Gamble for Thursday, November 4, 2004 in Part T13.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Daniel McCarthy, Chief Trial Counsel and Director of Trial Training, and Assistant District Attorney Danielle Pascale.
