SUMMER INTERNS RETURN TO THE BRONX DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE
Bronx District Attorney Robert T. Johnson announced today that 22 law school and college students will begin an eight week summer internship program on Monday, June 2, 2003.
The interns will help attorneys prepare cases for trial and provide research and other assistance in the Supreme Court, Criminal Court, Investigations, Grand Jury, Narcotics, Appeals, and Domestic Violence / Sex Offense Bureaus, as well as handle assignments in the Community Affairs and Public Information Units.
The law school students will work under the supervision of Assistant District Attorney Maria T. Rivero, Director of Legal Recruitment. The college students will work under the supervision of Lawrence M. Young, Deputy Administrative Chief.
