SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM RETURNS TO THE BRONX DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE
Bronx District Attorney Robert T. Johnson announced today that 24 law school and college students have been appointed to his staff as summer interns.
The interns will help attorneys prepare cases for trial and provide research and other assistance in the Felony Trial, Criminal Court, Investigations, Narcotics, Appeals, and Domestic Violence / Sex Offense Bureaus, as well as handle assignments in the Community Affairs and Crime Victims Assistance Units. The eight week summer internship program will end on July 26, 2002.
The law school students will work under the supervision of Assistant District Attorney Maria T. Rivero, Director of Legal Recruitment. The college students will work under the supervision of Lawrence M. Young, Deputy Administrative Chief.
